The Eden Valley Area Chamber Ambassadors celebrated Johannes Auction Service, an online auction service and a fairly new business to Eden Valley, with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and the presentation of their 1st Dollar Profit.  Rodney and Lisa Johannes had their 1st sale at the end of February and have enjoyed the growth of their business since then.

Rodney is particularly excited about bringing this service to Eden Valley, a town he is familiar with as a graduate of EV-W Schools.  When my team began arriving for the Ribbon Cutting event on August 1,2024, it was clear he wasn’t a stranger to our community. He already knows a number of our Chamber Ambassadors well and the ones familiar with his auction practices are excited to have his business operating locally.  We are thrilled that they have already taken steps to become members of the Eden Valley Area Chamber.

Rodney has been in the auction business for several years and after working in other industries for a while, is very happy to be making a living, doing what he and his wife, Lisa both clearly enjoy! He spoke passionately about his business, the process and being affiliated with Oberman Auctions located in St. Augusta, and owned by his longtime associate, Steve Oberman.

They sell everything, including auto’s, boats, antiques, coins and guns.  To book an onsite auction (Rodney is an auctioneer), or to consign items, call 320-345-1989.  To view or bid on online auctions, go to www.obermanauction.com and look for Johannes Auctions.
